Hello everyone! (:Fistly, let me apologise for this super dead blog. Im extremely sorry. I'll try to update as much as possible from now on! (:-So the upcoming event is the competition that mrlim has organised for us.Hmm, let me give you some details of it in case you've missed it out.Everyone is supposed to take up any 5 events and try your best to break your old record/set a new record/ do better than the previous time/ get a better timing. IN SHORT, it means, strive for the best, alright! There'll be points given and the better you do, the more points you get, obviously! The winner will be the fellow with the most points, but im still unsure how many winners there will be. Anyway, even if you dont bring home a trophy/medal, im sure you'll gain alittle more stamina/speed/endurance/determination & you name it! (: So everyone, start thinking what you would like to participate in and start training! (: -Next up, its kinda sad to say this, but still, i'll have to do it. The attendance from some characters are pretty bad. I mean, although its the holidays, im sure youre not busy like 24/7 right. Please, do make an effort to come for training, its your cca. Be proud of it! And also, do not come for the sake of cca points or your attendance or what not. Make an effort to like it. You see, when you like something, you will want to do it. #4. NATIONALS IS IN A MONTH. I hope you guys do realise that it's actually a pretty big thing. Because GESS track and field don't join too many competitions. So this is quite a chance for you to shine:D:D:D
SO SO SO SO SO. DO TRAIN HARD. And if you think school training isn't sufficient, DO NOT HESITATE TO TRAIN ON YOUR OWN. Grab your friends and go train after school or during weekends!
#5. Hmmmm, and if you're thinking about NOT joining nationals, here are some reasons why I think the opposite:
-YOU GET CCA POINTS JUST FOR REPRESENTING THE SCHOOL! So why not!! No loss for you there!

HELLO GUYS.
Well, nationals are over.
I just wanna tell all of you out there. That whether you won or not, it's just a bonus. The main thing here is that you've tried your best, and of course also the experience gained.
Please do not be disheartened, especially the sec1s, who ran their very first race. I'm proud to say, you guys did well:D And I felt really happy shouting for you guys at the stands. Do continue to train hard prove yourselves. Although we seniors don't really look like we care much, but it is a fact that we all place high hopes on you guys:D We believe that you guys can do much better than this year. So train hard for next year's Junior Meets and Nationals okay!:D And if it's possible, venture out to your own individual events too! Junior evidently has potential in long distance, while Lye Jun and Kar Hin might want to consider taking individual 100m sprints. (:
To the senior levels, especially the B-Boys relay team, this year's nationals might not have been your best run, but I'm still happy for you guys all the same. You've made it to semi's which is an achievement already. I don't think that there will be a relay team as awesomely fun as you guys anymore. ): And ofcourse I'll miss seeing Songyong and Juihao's sexy legs when they wear FBTs. LOLOLOL.

You'll realise that it is a DOWNLOAD PAGE! Tada!

And they are in blue color! Know what that means? It means ... ... IT'S DOWNLOAD-ABLE! And it's perfectly legal and most-likely virus free. So you can get your Event Programme and Event Order without worrying about crashing your computer, or getting caught and sent to jail:D
STEP #3.
Click on the Event Order, and click save! Then choose where you would like to save that file. After that, you will try to no avail to open it! well, was told that this camp was the best out of all for the past 3yrs but of cos it seems to be too.

Thanks for all your participation for making this camp so lively, and sorry for disappointing you all if there's anything we did that was selfish.

First Day!
Assembled in school at 8am. everybody was like, half awake.
and for god sake it started raining not long later after 8am.
started training already before settling down in my rooms.
warm-up, and then (now im going to complain how tough is my damn training.)
20x100m stride for god sake! my toe skin peel off can. zzz. kay, end of complain.
let's continue with the schedule.
had a lunchbreak at around 12pm - 1.30pm? back to school. GYM!
and then games organized by sengleong and mattheus.
we thank you for that, without those games this camp wouldn't have turn out this successful.
and we have to thanks sengleong for spending 10bucks buying items needed for the camp.
so right here we should all thank our Vice-Captain for all this, willing to spend his own money and free time for this camp to be successful. (:
games were fun, get to know more from trackers or netballers. =x
wash-up at around 6.30 and headed out for dinner.
Second Day!
Woke up at before 7am, have a quick wash up and have breakfast.
then headed to cck stadium for training, seriously i agreed that we are slacking lots.
had lunch at lot1, the plaza beside cck mrt.
then took train back to tiong and get back to school.
and we slacked when we were asked to do some gym works. (Hahahah, snrs slack only right, the jnrs did their trg!)
Netballers and 3 trackers were played with flour which made everybody turning so freakish white. (Sengleong doing all sorts of scandalous action^^)
Saf fork out his own money and bought somethings for bbq too. I guess not much people knows about it.
Once again, we should thanks our Captain for now, and of cos our one and only best coach/teacher, which is Mr Lim for doing all this for the trackers!
alright, bbq! Seniors came back, which looks damn cool cause we was like woah? a small bbq pit with more than 20 people crowding around it.
oh ya, some girls did some cool forfeit. but i didn't see it. so wanna know more?! ask trackers. (:
and here comes to the most childish thing we did during the camp. Iza ask for a game which is.. HIDE-AND-SEEK! LOL. and we really did played it.
Mattheus and I were star glazing and it was really relaxing! HAHA. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THE NORTH STARRRR!

Rememberrrr, this is just a suggested pack list, so you don't have to follow strictly to it.
SUGGESTED PACK LIST:
#1. 3-4 SETS OF CLOTHES, 1set of dark colored clothes for girls (If you think you can survive 3days 2nights w/o changing then dont bring clothes also can. HAHA:D)
#2. Sufficient Underwear:D :D :D
#3. Water bottle (DONT GET DEHYDRATEDDDDDD)
#4. SLEEPING BAGGIEEEEE (if you don't mind sleeping on bare table/floor then don't need to bring this)
#5. TOILETRIES (This includes, toothbrush, toothpaste, whatever soap you need and towel)
#6. FOOTWEAR: Running shoes, Spike shoes, Slippers
#7. MOZZIE REPELLENT. (This is super important, I assure you. Do NOT underestimate the power of the mozzies!)

Most of us agreed on Jersey type, which will cost approx. 20bucks. Fbt brand. There are a few different type of colors... So take your pick. And come up with a new design also can?????????? Cause I have no idea how your wanna design this thangy.

Exam over liao... Track training had started liao. All must come training hor. As usual la. Tuesday and Friday. However, in the holidays it will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Stadium at 3.30 if i am not wrong. Sometimes it will be at Choa Chu Kang Stadium. National is coming i like 1 month and a week time. Train hard guys. This will be our Captain last year representing GESS in the Nationals. Train hard Captain hope u will be able to win :) Top 4 got lolli fr me. Haha i am 1st time posting here. Guess who am i?? If not able to guess then Iza get top 4 cannot get lolli from me liao.

Well, just posting to tell you guys that our relay team (girls, consisting of IZA, ALISON, PINLI and JESSICA!) rocks our socks~~ They got into finals for 4by2 during SAA relays last weekend! Yeps~ Although didn't win during the finals, but they were awsome all the same! And the other relay reams did well too for 4by1 even though they didnt qualify for finals. Keep workin' hard for JUNIOR MEETS~~
